We Offer Veterinary Consulting for Equine Management

This service is designed to provide owners and prospective horse owners with information regarding:

• Feeding of concentrates and hay, quantity and quality
• Parasite management
• Pasture, fencing, shelters
• Flooring surfaces
• Vaccine protocols
• Body Condition Scoring of animals
• Insulin Testing
• Breeding recommendations regarding fescue grass control

This service is to be an extra tool that horse owners can use to supplement their knowledge on horse husbandry.  It should be used to supplement the information already provided by your equine veterinary provider.

Routine veterinary services are not part of this consulting service, though fecal exams can be performed at the farm during the consulting process.

Consulting fees for 2010

Our Equine Management Consultations are available at an introductory fee of $175 per hour with 1 hour minimum

Driving charges are $.55/mile from office location of Equine Veterinary Services at 1355 Mitchell Rd., Pulaski, TN 38478

Fees do not include extra tests such as Hay/Feed testing, Insulin testing, etc.
